(Storefront) Middle/older aged man with a go-t was EXTREMELY short with me, beyond that even rude. Also he told me I couldn’t wait till the end of the week to pick up my truck. I think it’s fair to say that everyone is going through a lot right now. COVID, terrible economy, etc. it would of been nice to have some extra time since I broke down on the road and had to drive 4 hours to this untrusted shop in the middle of the work week without having time to schedule rides etc. (10% Discount) In short: not received. I asked at the time of check out and hadn’t received my AAA Card in the mail. So even though this was a “preferred AAA automotive shop” I was told, and with that information as well as a discount in such trying times I would of loved any help I could get, I wish I went with a smaller Mom and pop shop. Also the man at the front I dealt with said he couldn’t find my information from AAA even though I was referred to them by AAA and he said he couldn’t find my information. He just didn’t want to be bothered helping.

Eileen	I would recommend Frank’s Automotive to those in need of automotive care. They were extremely honest and helpful when I called. It was the day before Thanksgiving and I know they were packed but the managed to get my daughter’s car in to be serviced. Her brakes were out and the repaired them in a very timely manner keeping me updated throughout the time it was there.

Julianne R. San Marcos, TX	Out of state visitor with vehicle that developed a worsening stall on a Friday evening, too dangerous to get back on the interstate. The brand dealership said they couldn't even look at my car for at least a week. I had electronic diagnostics finished at Frank's by Tuesday morning, ready to roll by Wednesday lunchtime. It seemed like an expensive set of replacement valves, sensors etc but it was machine code diagnostics that were explained in detail. The diagnostic fee and hourly labor rate were comparable or better than dealership rates. The shop foreman said the parts they use are sourced from same outlets the dealership would use, also there was a full year parts warranty with nationwide coverage. I have heard that car repair costs have gone up with everything else since COVID, so keeping that in mind I would say that Frank's quality of work and customer service is better than the local dealerships.

I took my car to Frank’s because another repair shop charged me $170 for a diagnostic and freon for my AC. 3 weeks later the AC was broken again. This time the other repair shop told me it was the evaporated core and quoted me $1800. I called Frank’s to discuss the problem and compare. Colton was very thorough and helpful and they did the repair for almost $500 less. They have earned my trust. The fellas at Reliable auto repair were very nice, but clearly didn’t diagnose the problem correctly the first time. Wanted to overcharge by $500 the second time and ultimately I wasted $170 when I was charged for freon service.
