Summary: My name wasn't on the schedule

Review: My name wasn’t on the schedule even though one of the guys remembered talking to me and putting me on the schedule. The whole reason I brought my Tahoe in was to determine whether it was worth sinking money into (I love the vehicle!) or whether it was time to say goodbye. I wanted an estimate of everything that was wrong with it. I also for an estimate to replace the cracked drivers door handle and told them that the Service Engine Soon light was on. I didn’t really get anything I wanted. I didn’t get an estimate for the door handle. I didn’t get a price for fixing everything, I just got a list of what needed to be fixed. I also didn’t get anything done about the Service Engine light. I wasn’t expecting them to diagnose the exact problem, but I at least thought they would read the code and reset the light. I understand that the code may not necessarily tell you what’s wrong, but depending on what’s wrong, having the code can sometimes get you close.
