Summary: Brought me

Review: Brought my 2015 Jeep Wrangler in after failing an emissions inspection. Provided the shop with the two error codes I received from the inspection and told them I wanted those two codes fixed, nothing else. They quoted me roughly $600 for diagnostics and repairs. Your people claimed it wouldn’t be over $900 since I wanted to know if I’d be exempt from an emissions inspection. I accepted you all to start diagnostics. They figured out one of the coolant thermostat error with not a problem, but then couldn't figure out the second error code. After keeping my car for two full days of diagnostics on the car, they recommended 10 different repairs on the Jeep. What they didn't know was in June 2022 (less than 6 months earlier) I had gotten 5 of the 10 repair suggestions already. I calmly followed up asking that they give me an estimate for the two repairs, addressing only the error codes from the emissions inspection and no other repairs to the car. They estimated my repairs for the two issues to total $1752. Remember I was quoted $600…This total didn't include what my warranty would cover. When I dropped my car off originally, I had given them my warranty information coverage on the vehicle. They never even called the warranty to see what was covered, but instead just gave me the total without warranty included. After feeling a little suspect of this shop, I decided to call two other local mechanic shops to get estimates on the repairs for the two error codes I needed fixing without needing a diagnostic report or labor to figure out what was wrong since Bradham Automotive did that already. The estimate I got was $600ish for the labor and parts on the two repairs, compared to the $1752 Bradham was asking me. I immediately called Bradham Automotive back to request my car not be fixed and to give me the cost for the diagnostic and the labor they put in to figuring out the issues. They charged me $600+ for just a standard diagnostic and 3 hours of labor...and remember, I had handed them the error codes already which would
