"I completed the online form requesting an oil service and noted I had a squealing noise. Brought the car in at 10 as scheduled and they got right on trying to figure out the squealing noise. After about an hour and a half I asked if the oil change had gone okay since I've never had one take so long; somehow the oil change wasn't noted as the primary service needed. I assumed it would take 2 hours at most to have an oil change and "look into the squealing noise" I was there for 4, which is fine, but I would have appreciated knowing that it would be that long of a wait. I very much value the extensive explanations, but would prefer to have an uninterrupted conversation rather than 4 separate ones due to phone calls, walk in customers, and casual staff conversations. The squealing is gone, my oil is changed, and I have a far greater understanding about the shape my car is in, but I couldn't help feeling like I should have come some other time when they had a full staff."
