"So my car was making a loud rattling sound that sounded like it was coming from the front under the hood. I went to a place on West Broad called Affordable Auto Care because my boyfriend had been taking his car there for years and you can get cheap work done there. After they drove it around, they decided that my transmission was about to go and the guy's advice to me was "drive it til it drops". He told me he would not be able to tell exactly what it was unless I paid 250 for him to lift the transmission out but he assumed this was the problem. So I was eager to receieve a second opinion. A friend in class told me about ALTERNATIVE AUTO CARE. I scheduled an appointment left my car with them a few days while they drove it around to assess the problem. I got a call back from them with good news that I had something loose in the dashboard and that my "car was maintained well for being a 2001". The service was friendly and pricing affordable and they didn't try to screw me over due to I know nothing about cars. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for honest, hard work done at a fair price."
