"Customers are greeted in a professional and friendly manner. Issues are addressed and you are notified before work is started. There is no pressure on whether to do the work. Service is beyond what I would expect. I would go to Murphy's before a dealership."

"The wipers on my 1999 Pontiac Firebird would not return to the parked position- they worked fine, but would stop in a straight up position on the windshield. I purchased a wiper motor & took my car to LBR. Between me & the Technician James, It was difficult to determine exactly what the problem was. The parking actuator arm on the wiper transmission was not working properly, though. James, after much thought, devised a custom solution- he took a tension spring & modified it, then attaching it to the actuator arm, providing tension, which would keep it in position to engage the "park" tab, causing the wipers to return to the park position. I know that all sounds pretty technical but, the bottom line is his ingenuity provided a repair to a unique problem. Then came time to pay. Mike conceded that it was an "unusual" repair, not simply a removal & re-install. There was 4 hours labor time in (I provided the part), Mike asked me what I thought would be fair. Yes, you heard me right, Mike asked me what I thought would be fair. The modification of the spring took minutes, but since the problem was so unique, it took a bit to get to that place. He offered to deduct 1 hour from the labor time, which I thought was very fair. My wipers park now, & I am a happy driver again. This was a pleasurable experience, overall. Thank you, LBR."
