"I suppose this story begins almost exactly one year ago. I found myself stranded in a parking lot with a dead battery as I was trying to leave for work. My car had gotten its milestone service about a week prior, so I was pretty annoyed about being blindsided by this. Fast forward to a year later and a new(er) vehicle...and I notice a helpful advertorial in my neighborhood newsletter about how car batteries can give out in our intense summer heat. That definitely got my attention! At the end of the article was an offer for a free courtesy check of your battery at Pearl City Auto Works. I emailed Erin that evening to request a courtesy check, and the very next morning their receptionist called me to schedule. She was very friendly and helpful| my only quibble is that she didn't mention where exactly they're located inside Harbor Center as that would've definitely saved me a few minutes and minor frustration (turns out, they're a few doors down from Napa Auto Parts).Upon my arrival, the young lady behind the counter greeted me warmly and promptly got me checked in. It took about half an hour, but they gave my car a more detailed once-over, not just the battery. Erin came over to say hi and told me everything was in good shape...which was great to hear, since I'd just had my car in for milestone maintenance a few weeks ago! We struck up a conversation about dogs and dog training (what are the odds...lol), and she became a keeper in my book!My safety check is coming up next month. Guess who I'm gonna call (and it's not Ghostbusters)!"
