"The mystery of where the smell of raw gasoline was coming from in my garage turned out to be a challenge. There were no signs of leakage on the garage floor or problems with small containers of gasoline for gasoline-powered yard equipment. Since I drive my Avalon most of the time, I had Jimmy inspect it first for the presence of any problem but he declared it in good working order. Shortly thereafter, my Mercedes was inspected that revealed that a small leak was probably coming from the top of the gas tank possibly in the vicinity of one of the fuel pumps. Jimmy was able to inspect the pumps by accessing the area by removing a plate in the floor pan underneath the back seat. The problem was determined to be a leaking fuel pump gasket which was replaced. By avoiding the need to remove the gas tank saved a considerable amount of money. At least I was able to wait until the age of 81 to have such a weird problem. Many thanks to Jimmy and his crew for providing the best possible solution."
