"What can I say? Thank you guys. My first car was an 84 5-series, and since then I and my family have owned numerous BMWs. That means that we've all worked with many BMW mechanics too (throughout the country - we live all over the place). If I could give German Autosport 10 stars, I would - they are among the most honest, straightforward, detailed, and transparent mechanics I have ever encountered. I brought them a car that was filled with unusual challenges (no service records, and lots of ghosts). They meticulously worked through the problems, always careful to communicate clearly with me what they were doing and why (and what they weren't doing - usually to save me money along the way), their best estimation of what else I should likely expect as they explored new challenges, and the best and worst case scenarios along the way. They were incredibly transparent about moments when they encountered uncertainty - rather than pretend like they had a silver bullet, they were open with their uncertainty. In the end, I found their technical competency to be unmatched - I called many former mechanics in other states along the way and all concurred that the answers and advice I received from German Autosport was spot on. I simply couldn't be happier. They worked with me patiently, focused on both repairing my car and saving my wallet as much as possible, and were always kind and patient with my questions and probing along the way. Hats off to you guys - I'll be bringing you my cars as long as I am driving BMWs!"
