"I went to Preferred when my transmission was slipping. The first estimate was $2200, the second a day later was $3200. The last with different excuses was $4200. The really annoying thing is that I keep getting, by email, rewards announcements that I'm only 253 points away from a certificate. Also after getting my car back I stopped into the transmission shop a half a block away and got an estimate for replacing the radiator and the transmission for $2800. When the last estimate came over the phone the service tech said he "called" around to other transmission shops and the best they could do was $4600. Oh I forgot... After I picked it up the trans was still slipping. So I took it back and to their credit they gave me a rental car for two days and replaced the transmission sensor they missed the first time. I've been holding this frustration inside for six months, thanks for allowing me to vent, John Sayer"
