"All depends on the tech you get and their current attitude. I went in for a simple smog check and the tech was pissed off that I arrived 15 minutes before he was scheduled to leave. The result was he could not get the smog machine to read my car's sensors, told me they can't smog it and it would need dealer service to repair it. The tech left in a fit and was visibly upset his ride from work had to wait 3 minutes for him. As a result I drove down the road ti another smog shop and the tech there had no issue reading my car's sensors and the car passed the smog check with no extra effort. I have decided to no longer take my vehicle's here for any reason; service or smog. It's more telling than I initially realized that an automotive service shop has no auto magazines; its apparent there are no car guys there."
