"Honest, knowledgeable & friendly. I know with LBR that what needs to be done on my vehicle will be done correctly. They will inform you, if something isn't necessary. I don't have to worry that I'll be overcharged. Your vehicle is in good hands with LBR."

"It is so hard to find someone you can trust to work on your Hybrid car and we have with the folk at Kensington Service Station. They are the best I have ever found. Straight answers to your questions, friendly service, and fast repairs. We have a 2001 and a 2004 Prius and they have been running so much better since we've been coming to Kensington. I live in Hayward and I am glad to drive to their location in Kensington. The dealerships could learn a lot on Quality car service and customer service from the crew at Kensington Service Station"

"All the mechanical work was completed in a timely manner and the car drives like it is a new Mercedes! My only "problem" with this particular experience with Frank's European Service was I tried to pay my bill with a check and you do not have a machine that can read the coded bar and verify sufficient funds. I regret not having asked Fred in advance if you were able to process checks. I came back the next morning and paid in cash. I don't like carrying large amounts of cash and, at the time, I wasn't sure if my debit card would be authorized for this particular charge (there are limits on debit cards at ATM machines for example). I have learned since this experience that my debit card would, in fact, have covered this bill but I was advised to call the bank in advance informing them of the amount I intended to put on it so there would be no problems. This "problem" will not happen again as I have learned banking protocol."

"we broke a timing belt at 5 pm on a friday so had to wait till monday to find a shop. Found star auto and these guys are awsome they worked with me over the phone as i live out of state i if i ever need a shop in grants pass i will be using star auto they are friendly and helpful. i got lucky and didnt bend valves if you need auto repair you wont go wrong with star auto i may even drive the 100 miles to just have maintance done on it i also have a truck that need a trany will be taking to star auto"

"This is without exception in my 45 years of owning and servicing older vehicles the BEST facility. I have ever worked with. Work is done right the first time. Prices are very fair. They do flip flops to help you in emergency situations, like today when our van was repaired by noon to salvage an out of state trip after calling at 5pm the day before! They are as honest as the day is long. Work is never recommended when it is not needed. Many times I have been told to delay service because it is not yet needed."
