"We took our 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid in for an intermittent "Service Soon" message display...When we took the car to MD the "Service Soon" light was not on and the initial troubleshooting pointed to the need for an oil change, which they did and reset the message. Shortly afterwards the "Service Soon" light came back on and we contacted MD. Even though it was late on a Friday afternoon they asked us to bring the car in while the "Service Soon" was actually on and further troubleshooting identified an actuator for cooling the Hybrid battery compartment."
