"I dropped off my car for an inspection and to investigate some road noise from a set of tires installed by Firestone 7 months ago. The technician identified that the tires were wearing unevenly due to Firestone not stripping the weights off the rims prior to balancing (and installing new ones) on the new tires. They only charged me a small fee for the diagnosis and I was able to take the car back to Firestone. This information was documented on the work ticket, so I could present it to Firestone. It is always good to have a skilled mechanic on your side."
