"I had to divorce our mechanic on Capitol Hill after twenty years because I ended up begging for an appointment. We were some of their oldest customers and had send many people there but it was getting silly to the point of ridiculous to have to call back to pay them to see to our vehicles.Marqueen had checked out a used car for us when Kurt owned it and he was a terrific guy and really helped us out. Now it's new ownership but wholly as reliable. We called our old mechanic when we were going to buy a new used rig this summer and he was going to charge us $100 to have it checked out plus additional for a compression check. We called Marqueen and they said $90 for the whole deal. When he checked it out he only charged $40 it was only four years old and in pretty good shape. What a great way to convince us they were our new mechanics. We have a Toyota and a Volks and they do well by both. Straight up crew.What a pleasant thing to talk to the front office and have her say ""when would you like to bring it in?"" instead of begging for them to make time and having to call back for an appointment. Get a good doctor, a good dentist, a good accountant and a good mechanic and hey you are set!"
