"Took the Wagon in for its oil change and found an issue with the front brakes. Ken Stoner and Dave Scafidi worked on this, gave me great call-back information on the issue, found a solution, and very quickly resolved the issue, and gave us a long-range plan for other related parts that will need attention in the future.

"The personnel were very friendly and wanted to know where I had been since last time (I had oil changes elsewhere).
They seemed professional and competent and wanted to satisfy their customers.
The only irritant was the nearly $4 shop fee added on. When I asked they said it was for topping off fluids, which they never said they had to do. It seems like a way to get an easy $4 extra on top of the special deal.
All in all the $29.99 (without tax) for oil change, filter and tire rotation was a good deal but the cost of over $37 was more than advertized and you can never get the oil change for $29.99 plus the oil disposal $1 and tax--it will always include the shop fee whether needed or not. Thank goodness they didn't charge a shop fee of $15 or $20, if they really wanted to get in your pocket."

"Frank's is the most honest auto service I've ever used. They told us earlier in the year that our brakes were close to needing to be replaced - but that we could wait a while without hurting the rotors. This past weekend the brake pad warning light came on. Sure enough, we got 4 extra months out of them without hurting the rotors. Other repair services would have told us to do them in January to make the money."
